The 2006 Parade in Port Townsend was a great success despite about 36 hours of rain. About 50 hearty participants from Forks, Bremerton, Sequim & the East Jefferson county area braved the weather and enjoyed sharing the Love of Jesus with our community. Pastor Steve Welty from Glory House Fellowship in Sequim and Misty Claussen of Forks led the music this year from the new Hope Roofing flatbed truck. After the parade down Water Street many people stayed around for refreshments until about 5pm. A woman from a Baptist church in Alaska was walking down the street and heard we had an open microphone and shared a song with us. Another woman who arrived early received the baptism of the Holy Sprit. Three women prayed for her including Ann Dutcher, wife of the Pastor at Abundant Mercy Church in Forks
